The Cincinnati Art Museum’s Alice Bimel Courtyard is one of our favorite spaces in the city and a gorgeous and popular setting for a summer wedding day. The charming mixture of stone, garden, and fountain make guests feel they are in another world entirely.
Our couple wanted their florals to recreate and expand on the white and green palette of the courtyard garden. The bride carried an all white, loose bouquet composed of roses, peony, white stock, and baby’s breath which paired beautifully with her lace gown by Monique Lhuillier (those sleeves!).
A subtle layer of white rose petals lined the aisle and two focal floral arrangements flanked the ceremony space with the altar decorated in a large spray of green and white.
The reception was held in the Great Hall where guests were seated at round tables and a long king table in the center for the wedding party. Tall glass vases held gorgeous white and green arrangements circled with loads of pillar candles and votives which illuminated the room.
