A sweep of bright, brilliant colors set the mood for this early fall wedding ceremony in Cincinnati’s Washington Park. A laid back reception followed at the historic Rhinegeist Brewery. Our starting point for the floral palette was a swatch of the grenadine colored fabric the bridesmaids wore. It’s one of those colors that has its own glow and, surprisingly, can go in many directions.
The bride’s bouquet was a delight of color and texture. Saffron yellow craspedia billy balls are always a favorite paired perfectly with gem tones of thistle, berry purple celosia and snow on the mountain. Her bridesmaids carried slightly smaller hand tied bouquets repeating the same flowers along with silvery dusty miller for unity.
The warm pine wood floors, skylights broken up by open rafters and original brick walls of Rhinegeist Brewery were the perfect contrast to the bright color palette. Tables were set with gilt glass geometric vessels filled with simple arrangements complimenting the bridal party bouquets alongside watercolor table numbers painted by a friend of the bride. The day was photographed perfectly by Jonathan Gibson.
