Beautiful spring wedding at the Cincinnati Art Museum with soft blush and white florals with a touch of pale green foliage for a pop. Both the ceremony and reception were held in the Great Hall which is intricately detailed and a truly gorgeous space to spend an evening.

Tell us a little about you and your husband. How did you meet and fall in love?
We met while he was completing his residency and I was in nursing school. We both knew after the first date that we had something special.
Tell us about your floral vision going into wedding planning?
I always knew that the flowers would be a big part of my wedding day. We loved getting married at the Cincinnati Art Museum. I wanted to keep decorations to a minimum because I knew the beauty of the space and the flowers would be more than enough for us! The words that kept popping into my head when I was planning were crisp, clean, and classic.
What was the most challenging part of wedding planning? What surprised you?
The most challenging part of wedding planning was having to do it remotely. I had to make monthly trips from Baltimore to Cincinnati while planning. What surprised me the most was how easy doing the seating chart was! All you ever hear about is seating horror stories, luckily all of our guests fit perfectly.
Were there specific flowers or items you wanted to incorporate into your bouquet?
Pink roses will forever remind me of my grandma, who is no longer with us, so those were a must!
Why did you choose the Cincinnati Art Museum as your venue?
We knew immediately that we were going to choose it when we pulled into the parking lot. The venue is so beautiful and has so much to offer. No matter what direction we decided to go, we knew they could accommodate us.

Did you do anything special with your bouquet or your florals after your wedding day?
I did not do anything to preserve my bouquet flowers. I kept them in vases for as long as I could. The flowers that day were so beautiful, I knew they would never be that perfect ever again so I just wanted to enjoy them as long as I could.
Working with so many great vendors was such an amazing experience. Everything came together so beautifully and our vision came to life right before our eyes. The only reason that was possible was that so many great and experienced people came together and helped us on our special day!
